Honeywell
barometers and barometric pressure sensors are used to measure barometric
pressure in a wide variety of meteorological and aerospace applications
such as manned and unmanned vehicles, ocean data buoys, remote meteorological
stations, airborne measurements and weather balloons.
Honeywell
Precision Barometer
Honeywell's
precision barometer and precision altimeter have the best combination
of accuracy and stability due to the integration of a microprocessor with
Honeywell's Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) silicon pressure sensor.
The MEMS sensor in Honeywell's precision barometers are compensated from
-40 to 85 degrees Centigrade, using a microprocessor to compute data to
accuracies within 0.03 percent of the full-scale pressure range.
The Honeywell
Precision Barometer (HPB) and Honeywell Precsion Altimeter (HPA) offer
a variety of digital outputs including RS232, RS485 and TTL for low power
applications.

Honeywell's
Pressure Transducers Offer Complete Sensing Solutions
Our family
of pressure transducers and pressure sensors offer the most reliable pressure
readings for high performance applications in the industry. Honeywell
Precision Pressure Transducers (PPT) combine proven silicon sensor technology
with microprocessor-based signal conditioning to provide an extremely
powerful, accurate and stable pressure transducer. Honeywell's Precision
Pressure Transducer (PPT), are also available in ruggedized and explosion-proof
models that are used in a variety of applications in the avionics, meteorological,
industrial and medical industries. Click here to learn more about our
complete family of Precision Pressure Transducers.
Pressure
Transducer Remote Digital Display Accessory
The Remote
Digital Display RDD100 is a convenient, compact and inexpensive accessory
for displaying the output from Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducer.
The RDD100 may be remotely located from the PPT or PPT-R transducer at
distances up to 50 feet (15m). Any of the PPT's 14 factory-set pressure
units or a user-specified unit can be displayed on the six digit LED.
